As if a pandemic wasn't enough, I've managed to injure myself to boot. And I'm learning some important lessons about trying to manage blood sugar levels with trauma, stress, sleeplessness, and pain medications all playing ping pong with my blood glucose levels. One lesson - certified diabetes educators sometimes need to consult with their own certified diabetes educator for help.
