The end of the holidays and the start of a new year is a great time to take stock of many things in your life. January is usually a time for you to make new commitments to personal goals, as can be seen by the packed gym those first two weeks of the year. It's also a season of letting go of old habits, like the tried and true "in the new year, I'll stop x-y-or-z".
