Type 1 Mother of One Newbie

I just found this community because it was listed in George Scheiner's book, "Think Like a Pancreas." I was diagnosed as a honeymooning Type 1 when I was 21 years old living in Wichita on an internship as a professional pilot. Insulin dependence is a disqualifying condition per the FAA so I am now grounded...but I stayed with aviation, just not flying anymore.

I had a successful diabetic pregnancy in 2010 and have a beautiful toddler boy now. I work hard daily to balance motherhood, marriage, work and DIABETES. I capitalized it because that's how it feels most of the time - looming large over everything else.

I'm interested in getting pregnant again, this time with continuous glucose monitoring. Curious if anyone has done a pregnancy with CGM on this site?
