Discouraged

I have posted a question in two different forums looking for a little camaraderie, encouragement, and advice.  At this forum, no one has even READ my post,  and at the other one, several have read it, but only one has bothered to reply.  WHY?  Isn't the point of these forums to be there for each other and lean on each other?  Yet I see many posts on here from  4 months ago, 6 months ago, A YEAR AGO,  with hundreds of views and NOT ONE REPLY.   I know we are all busy, but this just shouldn't be.  Can't we do better?  SHOULDN'T we do better?  This isn't exactly a sisterly welcome.  After all, this is a fight for our lives here, and no one can do that alone.  Just food for thought.

Sorry you are discouraged.  I am new to the group as well.  I have read through many of the posts, but have only commented on one other.  I think maybe I was unsure of how to reply.  I was diagnosed with type 2 the end of January.  I'm going to classes offered here at the university where I work.  I'm learning alot and have decided that the way we handle diabetes now is alot different than the way it was handled when my dad was diagnosed.

Be encouraged.  I just joined about a hour ago.  However I am a member of several Facebook groups so I am going from one forum to another, which can become very busy.  I am delighted to be a part of this group and hopefully we can uplift one another as well as sharing informative tidbits.

Karla,
I understand your feelings.  If possible, you should see if their is a PODS meeting in your area.  I've found lots of support at the PODS with my fellow diabetic sisters.  It is hard to know what to say in a blog when someone is discouraged with the non stop management of diabetes, but we have all been there and certainly our emotions cycle up and down with our blood sugars.  For me, the best thing that I do for myself is to read continuously about diabetes care and management.  Taking care of our diabetes is a marathon, not a sprint, so I try to keep it in perspective.  Recently, I read an article that said we should be able to enjoy our lives with diabetes.  It does feel sometimes like the harder I try, the worse it gets.  So, I'm constantly working on trying to find a happy balance between reasonable blood sugars and being able to enjoy my life.  I'm always happy to listen or share....

Hi, Karla!  I'm a new member - just about 10 minutes ago!  (Should have done this way sooner).  I'll be reading all the blogs, gleaning for information.  I am the poster child for what not to do w/Type 2 and I'm trying to re-boot my life.  If you ever need to "talk", I'm willing and able, and can give great advice on what not to do!  Hope you're feeling better about this and someone can answer your questions.  Hope to "talk" again soon.    Have a great day!  Sherry @ mcgreevy208@yahoo.com

Hi have you heard or read about treating that disease type with "a new molecular therapy that uses targeted peptides and proteins to restore cellular function?

I recommend you to Google search the term "Peptide treatment", or the company named "Regenerative Cellular Therapy".
