type 2 ??

Where are all of the type 2 posts. I've enjoyed and learned from the many posts I have read since I found this site, but almost are from women with type 1. Many of the problems deal specifically with type 1 issues for instance using a pump. ( I do know that type 2 diabetics use pumps some times as well) I would very much like to also hear from those with type 2.

I've been wondering the same thing. Although I have type 1, I would love to talk with and hear from some women with type 2! Come on, Ladies...You can come out of hiding now! We want to support ALL women with ALL types of diabetes!:)

I know, I would love to hear from you, too! I've known a few ladies with Type 2 and they were getting along swimmingly with it as far as I know--but we can all use encouragement from those who know exactly what we're going through! Come talk!

Hi,

I am a Type 2 and also notice that most of the posts are from Type 1's. I have been a Type 2 since 1996. It would be nice to connect with other women who deal with this horrid disease. Support is vital in managing this unpredictable monster. I live alone and joined this website for that resaon. I am doing pretty well lately with my diabetes care. I'd like to share with others.

I'm glad you found us. I've only been diabetic about a year and a half. I would love to have other type 2 women to share with. Even though we have some of the same issues as type 1, there are differences. My e-mail is donnawright1961@yahoo.com. E-mail me or post anytime. I check the site pretty regularly. It is good that you are able to be so good when you are down. I have depression issues as well. I am better about what I eat at those times that I used to be, but I definitely need to improve.
