About the Speaker: Kathy Warwick, RDN, CDCES
Kathy Warwick, RDN, CDCES, is a highly experienced dietitian and diabetes care specialist with over 40 years in the field. As the owner of Professional Nutrition Consultants, LLC in Madison, Mississippi, she provides diabetes education, long-term care and hospice consultation, wellness services, media communications, and medical-legal consulting. Passionate about empowering both people with diabetes and healthcare professionals, Kathy has been a strong advocate for legislative efforts to expand diabetes care coverage. She is an accomplished speaker, having presented nationally on diabetes-related topics, and a published author, contributing to the American Diabetes Association’s Guide to Nutrition Therapy. Currently, she serves as the Professional Development Chair for the Diabetes Dietetic Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is a Past-President of the Mississippi Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her grandkids, gardening, raising chickens, practicing yoga, and attending art classes.
