About the Speaker: Robin Nwankwo, CDCES, RDN, MPH
With over 35 years as a research dietitian and diabetes educator, Robin Nwankwo has advanced peer support and diabetes education through NIH-funded research. She has co-authored book chapters and journal articles on nutrition, nursing, pharmacy, and diabetes education, emphasizing self-management empowerment.
Robin has presented widely on nutrition, senior health, cancer prevention, and diabetes management. Now retired from the University of Michigan, she continues consulting with the North Central Health District WIC, Maya Feller Nutrition, the University of Michigan School of Social Work, and Welfore Health, dedicated to improving health outcomes and empowering individuals.
