Diabetes Support Groups & Meetups

By joining a diabetes support group or meetup, you engage in meaningful peer-led conversations that provide support, share knowledge, and foster connections to empower your diabetes management journey.  An offering specifically designed for women with diabetes and those at risk.

A person with curly hair leans on a rooftop ledge, gazing thoughtfully into the distance at dusk, with city buildings and blurred lights in the background.

Living with diabetes can be challenging, but you don't have to face it alone.

DiabetesSisters Meetups bring women together online to share experiences, ideas, and encouragement. Whether you're newly diagnosed or have lived with diabetes for decades, you'll find understanding, laughter, and learning - all from the comfort of your own home.

Meetups are FREE, easy to join, and open to women with all types of diabetes and those at risk.

What You'll Find in a Meetup

Every DiabetesSisters Meetup is a safe, judgment-free space where women can share stories, ask questions, and learn from one another. Conversations often touch on topics like:

  • Healthy Eating: Finding food freedom, not food guilt
  • Being Active: Realistic ways to move your body
  • Healthy Coping: Managing stress, burnout, and self-care
  • Taking Medication: Insulin, GLP-1s, and beyond
  • Monitoring: Using glucose meters, CGMs, or pumps
  • Problem Solving: Real-life challenges and wins
  • Reducing Risks: Heart health, eye care, and more

You'll leave each Meetup feeling supported, informed, and more confident about your diabetes journey.
