Lindsay Cohen, RDN, LDN, CDCES, NBC-HWC
Meet Lindsay – Diabetes Dietitian, Mama of Two, and Founder of Mama-betes. Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 9, she knows the challenges of balancing diabetes with motherhood and became a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist to support other women on this journey. Through Mama-betes and as the host of our Motherhood Meetup, Lindsay empowers moms with diabetes by offering guidance, community, and practical strategies to help them feel confident caring for themselves and their families.
CJ Walker
Meet CJ – Wife, Mom of Three, and Type 2 Diabetes Advocate. Diagnosed in 2019, CJ understands the unique challenges that come with balancing diabetes and motherhood. As co-host of our Motherhood Meetups, she creates a welcoming space for women to connect, share openly, and find encouragement in knowing they’re not alone. By sharing her own journey—including her work as an advocate, community leader, and author of My Diabetic Mama—CJ offers both inspiration and practical support to help moms feel seen, supported, and empowered in life with diabetes.
