Exercise and glucose control in Type 1 diabetes

Hello!  My name is Wendy (44) and I received my diagnosis when I was 20 years old.  For 15 years, I've been on insulin pump therapy.  One of my on-going struggles with the disease is tight management without dropping too low.  I exercise regularly and while that helps me lower my glucose, I struggle with dropping too low over night.  I have reduced my settings.  Yet, I can't find a happy medium.  I am either too high or too low.  Any advice regarding this topic appreciated!

I thought I was the only one who suffered with both highs and lows with the pump and inability to remain stable.  I am also having problem losing weight and I am not sure if it due to wearing an insulin pump that delivers insulin all day long.  anyone else have trouble gaining weight since starting on a pump?
