Hello,

Found this website in "All of You" magazine. I have had Type 2 for 7 years and have struggled to keep it in control and to lose weight. Anyone else out there in the same boat?:S

Hi. I've been a Type I for just over 20 years. I'm a 36 year old female. I've been a "star" patient up until now but I feel that I've ignored the important things regarding my diabetes for the past six months! I've been eating rather poorly, saying I'll get back on it. I haven't been exercising like I used to (I used to walk 3-5 times a week). So, I need some support to get back on the right track! I'm worth it!:)

I have just been diagnosed 11/17 yes right before Thanksgiving! Type 2 I am over weight have been since my first child (had gestational diabetes) I almost feel like if I just kept off the wt I wouldnt be in this position! I have however lost wt and feel good ! I even went to a nutritionalists that was horrible!!!! I plan to go to another one after Christmas. Just try harder and keep focus! Go to a good nutritionalists and try again to loose some wt you will feel much better!

You are worth it and you can get back on track! Do some small things for yourself that make you happy! Get your hair done go for a small walk with a family member or friend!

Thanks 'Karma'. This is a good place to "talk" with other diabetics. I don't do that much!
