new to sisters but old to diabetes.

I live in Germany, am turning 40 this year
and getting married in April. But my real concern is my morning high blood
sugars.

I was 27 when told I had type2 not a surprise
since I’d been hypoglycemic since my early teens. However I just started having
blood sugar levels that diet and exercise could not control 6 months ago. I’m
been trying meds: Metformin, Actos and now Xelevia (sitagliptin in America)  Metformin caused severe stomach distress and
OK sugar control, Actos was wonderful with sugar but horrid with migraines and
weight gain. Now trying Xelevia.  So for
no side effects but no reduction of sugars either.

I'm hoping to find support and new information here.
thanks
