Follow the Insulin Road...

Hello Again Sisters!

I had my Endocrinology appointment today, and all is as I thought it would be.

I will be taking insulin for the rest of my life.

I have a long acting insulin that I will take every night before bed, and another that I will have to take before I eat anything.

I am feeling quite overwhelmed.

Thanks for listening...

I was told my body is still not producing enough insulin and was prescribed an oral medication to help and if it doesn't, I'll have to give myself insulin everytime I eat too. Hopefully there pills work out. It's too much of an inconvenience but hey whatever it takes I guess to help control our diabetes to be healthier!

My SIL's mom, diabetic for more than 15 years, 18.5... almost onto the road of insulin....she was recommended berry juice with resveratrol as one major ingredient.  initially after taking the juice, the diabetic level shoot up further due to healing crisis...she persevered and now 8 months into berry juice, her diabetic is under control and now 5.5.  The sachet of berry content is 30ml and she takes 1 pack daily in the morning before brushing up.  Other than the juice, she makes sure she works on her mobility like walking, taking deep breathe and also controlling the sugar intake....all these help.   She is now happy and still on her routine....http://tinyurl.com/nuwa3hb
