DiabetesSisters invites the community to help kick off our Weekend for Women Conference. Join us for a fun night that mixes in-person networking and social media, bringing together people affected by diabetes to learn from each other and be a voice for the diabetes community.
The evening starts with a meet and mingle session from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. (Pacific Daylight Time) then goes straight into a DSMA Live radio program at 6:30 p.m. with DSMA founder Cherise Shockley – and some surprise guests. This free event is open to all people affected by diabetes. So we want you to be there and to invite your friends in the diabetes community to join us live in San Francisco.
DSMA, or Diabetes Social Media Advocacy, uses social media to build community and education among diabetes patients. It's a program of the Diabetes Community Advocacy Foundation, which is partnering with DiabetesSisters to host this new Weekend for Women Conference event.
