About the Host

Constance Brown-Riggs is an award-winning registered dietitian, nutritionist, and certified diabetes care and education specialist. She is the author of several diabetes-related books, including Living Well with Diabetes: The Fourteen Day Devotional and The Diabetes Guide to Enjoying Foods of the World, both of which received the prestigious Hermes Gold Creative Awards. Throughout her career, Constance has established herself as an expert in nutrition, diabetes management, and the cultural factors that influence the health and healthcare of people of color.

Her work has been featured in numerous publications for both health professionals and healthcare consumers. Constance has also served on the Board of Directors for the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists and was the past chair of the Diabetes Dietetic Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
